Entry Level Welding Jobs

API Heat Transfer has two welder positions open in Buffalo, NY. Applicants must have experience with MIG and TIG welding, reading blueprints, and using overhead cranes. To learn more, visit their jobs board.

Norfolk Southern Corp is hiring a freight car repairman (also referred to as a Carman). Applicants should have knowledge of burning, welding, and the operation of heavy fabrication equipment. Traditional Welding Jobs
 

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey is hiring a Structural Steel Inspector. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in engineering or technology, certifications and experience in structural steel inspection, knowledge of the AWS code. The Arctic Slope Regional Corporation is hiring a pipe welder in Kuparuk, AK. In addition to pipe welding, the position performs basic rigging procedures and structural steel fabrication. Teaching and Education Welding Jobs

Chippewa Valley Technical College, in Eau Claire, WI, is seeking applicants for a full time fabrication and welding instructor, as well as part-time welding instructors. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (7 years of education, certification, and work experience are deemed equivalent to a bachelor’s degree), minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Lincoln Tech is looking for welding instructors at three of its campuses – Grand Prairie, TX; Denver, CO; and East Windsor, CT. The positions involve teaching both in the classroom and in the shop. Applicants must have 5 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and knowledge of several different welding techniques.
